Scott and Paula are both passionate about their sport of whitewater and freestyle kayaking. They literally met each other on the river and are now married with three energetic young sons.
They have always enjoyed visiting Devon to surf on the north coast and kayak on the Dart river on Dartmoor. They even got married on the banks of the river Dart.
With Scott finding work as a paramedic with South West Ambulance, Paula and Scott were able to realise a long-held dream of relocating from London to Devon. They moved to Okehampton in 2020, and completely renovated Melrose Cottage to start a new adventure as holiday cottage hosts.
